Blurbs for One Dozen

This is situational, thoroughly contemporary poetry. Each piece is cooked just enough for its edges to start curling. So the tray’s ready. One Dozen exactly, no more and no less. All you can handle for now.

– Bill Howell, poet.

I wandered into this blurb by accident (see p.13), laughing out loud while reading this book. It happened on the College streetcar so no one noticed. I’m usually more restrained, but it’s David Clink’s fault. He wrote the poems. Then I read them again and found them sad.

– Carol Malyon, author of Cathedral Women.
