Previous participants recommend this workshop. Some testimonials:

"I absolutely recommend this workshop if you want to write a bunch of new poems. The writing prompts that David and Sandra picked were very helpful in generating interesting work. It’s a very supportive and productive environment. I wrote 13 poems in one day!"

- Lisa Young, Senior Poetry Editor, Existere

"I can't imagine a better team to lead a poetry workshop. Clink and Kasturi's dynamic workshop was organized, inspired and I liked the pace. Their series of stimulating and imaginative writing prompts kept the poetry coming. A warm and supportive atmosphere."

- L. L.

"David and Sandra delivered an inspiring and imaginative workshop with over a dozen varied prompts that primed our creative pumps. I enjoyed listening to the many forms of poetry the other writers came up with, and I went home with a notebook full of poems to polish up. It was great fun."

A VERDANT GREEN – A florilegium of Poetry for Anna and William McCoy:

A florilegium is an unusual but beautiful word for a compilation of passages of poetry. This florilegium consists of poetry inspired by the natural world and the human need to appreciate and preserve life on this planet rather than despoil and destroy it. That need has never been greater than at the present time.

It was with this single imperative in mind that William McCoy, a Toronto businessman, sought to celebrate the memory of his late wife Anna who deeply loved the world of nature. Alas, Bill himself died in the fall of 2009, before he could realize his dream. But he lived long enough to read many of these poems and to approve of the spirit of the anthology. Suitably, A Verdant Green is appearing bearing a dedication to the memories of Anna and William McCoy.
